The Nowa Warszawska tram line will run along Warszawska Street, which together with Adamowicz Alley and Havel Alley forms the urban network integrating the development areas of the city.

The extension of the tram line is to increase the accessibility of the southern districts and shorten the travel time of their residents to the center. Modernization works are carried out on an almost 2-kilometer section and, in addition to extending the tram line, they also include the construction of accompanying infrastructure – pedestrian paths and a bicycle path.

As part of the investment, ELDRO implements, among others, design and implementation of temporary traffic lights, functioning during the reconstruction of the road, and also deals with the installation of street lighting and monitoring, and the integration of drivers with the TRISTAR Traffic Management and Control System.
